Hanover, NH is just 25 minutes from Woodstock and home to Dartmouth College. Years later, the words of President Eisenhower are still accurate, that is it what a college town should look like. WEST LEBANON, NH AREA
Primarily located on Route 12A off exit 20 of I-89 in tax-free New Hampshire, “West Leb” is home to every major chain restaurant and a number of major retailers, including Wal-Mart, Best-Buy, K-Mart, Border’s, and many more. Golf & Ski is one of the region’s best local stores, and is at the far end of Route 12A (½ mile from exit 20 of I-89- across from Border’s/Wal-Mart and next to the soon to be opened Home Depot). Visit local hockey legend Scott Peters and walk through some of the best selections of golfing and skiing gear anywhere.
For dining, you have your choice of everything from McDonalds, Burger King, Denny’s, Chili’s, Appleby’s, 99’s, Koto Steakhouse (with hibatchi tables) and Friendly’s. Take a drive and you’ll find what you like. The six screen SonyTheaters is located on the Miracle Mile just a couple minutes from Route 12A (603-448-6660).
